In March of 2016, world renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa entered a partnership with the luxurious hotel Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris in order to open the first Matsuhisa restaurant in France. The new restaurant, which offers Nobu’s signature mix of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, is operated by Executive Chef Hideki Endo and a team of skilled sushi masters.
Nobu grew up and apprenticed in Japan, but he was offered his first professional position in Peru in 1973. Since then, the chef has been dedicated to creating a unique fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Some of his most famous dishes that are being served at the Matsuhisa Paris include Albacore Tuna Sashimi with Jalapeño Peppers, Black Cod with Miso, and Sashimi Tacos. The new restaurant in Paris will also have a French flair to its menu, thanks to the work of Hideki Endo whose training in French cuisine has allowed him to introduce such dishes as Algae Tacos with Black Truffle and Crispy Oysters with Caviar to Nobu’s kitchen.
The Matsuhisa Paris comfortably seats 100 diners and boasts a carefully curated sake and cocktail menu that is designed to complement Nobu’s dishes. Guests who are keen on admiring the work of the skilled chefs at the Matsuhisa Paris can attend the ‘Omakase Bar,’ a live cooking counter where you can watch your meal being prepared.
