Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has dropped a hefty $12.7 million on a new estate in Pacific Palisades, California. Witherspoon and her husband (agent Jim Toth) recently sold their Brentwood mansion, making way for the new home.
So what is Reese getting for her investment? The Pacific Palisades estate was recently owned by award-winning architect Ken Ungar, who bought the property for $4.9 million in 2012. The photos of the estate are pre-Ungar, so the work he put into the residence is likely quite impressive.
The house itself sports over 4,300 square feet of living space, five bedrooms and five bathrooms. As the photos below show, the views are outstanding.
Witherspoon has three children, two with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and one with Toth. She won an academy award for portraying the legendary country singer June Carter in the film “Walk the Line.” Other films include “Election” and “Legally Blonde.”
