Fashion houses are open to team up with each other to bring more uniquely designed products on abroad. Charlotte Olympia has also collaborated with Agent Provocateur to unveil the shoe brand’s first lingerie collection. Designed by founder of the British shoe and accessories, Charlotte Dellal, the sizzling collection features three lingerie sets along with three complementing shoe styles. Inspired by Old Hollywood glamour, it also features key Charlotte Olympia signatures, including the cat motif and leopard print.Modeled by Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, the hot and wild collection features a range of shapes and styles to suit every taste and figure, right from high-waisted briefs and a silk teddy to a headscarf and cute slippers.Though both the brands have already worked together to design shoe styles in 2012, this is the first time the two have teamed up for a more private and sensual offering.Charlotte Dellal shares her experience of designed her first lingerie collection, “I have always loved lingerie, and when I first started to study fashion design I was very interested in corsetry. I’ve have been collecting Agent Provocateur’s beautiful lingerie for years. I almost have more lingerie than shoes! Both brands share similar sensibilities – we’re feminine, playful and love glamour.”Charlotte’s favorite piece from the collection is the Caught In Charlotte’s Web Soiree lingerie set. This 50s inspired set is complete with high waisted briefs for $500, a $400 bra and suspenders to hold up your stockings.Boasting of Agent Provocateur’s signature designs and Charlotte’s iconic prints and details, the collection is sexy yet playful lingerie. Priced from $135 onward, the collection is all set to hit the shelves on January 18 in Agent Provocateur and Charlotte Olympia stores and online.
