It gets more appealing when you can buy one item and use it in two different styles? We are totally sold to this idea especially when it comes from one of the world’s most esteemed and respectful Maisons in the luxury goods industry. Cartier’s Royal collection necklace is an outstanding piece of jewelry with a dash of versatility. The highlight of this dazzling artwork is the 30ct. diamond. The perfectly flawless white diamond (D IF Internally Flawless Type IIa) is the star of this creation as it can be worn in the necklace as well as on a ring.
Cleverly set in the neckpiece, the flawless diamond appears to float on the neckline and free of any attachment. This phenomenal setting was carried out by Cartier craftsmen who put in over 1,000 hours to make the platinum setting invisible. The pear-shaped white diamond weighing 30.21 carats adorns the openwork lattice of diamonds on the necklace. This delicate setting moves down the neck in a V-shape arrangement to converge in a kite-shaped diamond of 5.12 carats.
When the need to dress up the neckline doesn’t arise but you cannot part ways with the big diamond, Cartier has stepped in with an out-of-the-necklace solution. The pure diamond dangling from the necklace is detachable and can be crowned as the center stone in a platinum diamond-set ring.
The 30 carat diamond adds some serious weight to your finger and neckline by royally oscillating between the ring and the necklace.
The Royal collection for the 27th Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris focuses on large and exceptional stones. Beginning on September 11, Cartier will celebrate its legacy of precious stones and the Maison’s jewelry expertise at the most important event in the jewellery calendar. The Parisian brand is all set to unveil an outstanding High Jewelry collection of approximately one hundred dazzling creations that showcase the Maison’s passion for exceptional stones.
