U.S. News & World Report has released its annual ‘Best Cars for Families’ report. Toyota and Honda dominate the list, with five vehicles each (out of 14 categories). Ford had three vehicles named to the list, while Hyundai had one.
While the appearances by Honda and Toyota are expected, the growing critical reception to Ford’s vehicles is a welcome addition.
“Families are spending more time in their cars than ever and finding the right family car is complex and time-consuming,” says Jamie Page Deaton, managing editor of U.S. News Best Cars. “The Best Cars for Families Awards save parents time and anxiety by highlighting cars that are safe, comfortable and affordable over the long term.”
