Yves Saint Laurent has chosen the British “It Girl” Cara Delevingne, a frequent YSL ambassador, to represent its new Couture Palette collection, which includes no less than 11 eyeshadow palettes. The new collection will arrive in stores this summer.
With the Couture Palette collection, the French design house is emphasizing a newly patented eyeshadow technology, Pure Colour Catalyst, which promises long wear and intense, bright color with a variety of effects (pearl, iridescent, matte or metallic).
Yves Saint Laurent is also innovating in the realm of colors, presenting 11 combinations of shades, all inspired by the couture house’s wardrobe: Tuxedo (matte black and grey shades), Saharienne (desert-inspired shades ranging from pink to purple), Rive Gauche (midnight blue, grey, sky blue) or Parisienne (pinks and mauves).
The new Couture Palette collection from Yves Saint Laurent will go on sale at exclusive retailers from May 5 before arriving in authorized retailers everywhere from June 30. Price around $80.
