Cara Delevingne has cat-walked for numerous brands and lent her face to many top fashion houses like Chanel, Burberry and also DKNY. Now the British model has geared up to reveal her creative skills by designing a capsule collection for DKNY.
The renowned model will be debuting as a fashion designer with the Cara Delevingne for DKNY collection. Comprising of 15 pieces, the unisex collection will roll out with some of Delevingne’s signature styles, such as tank tops, a parka jacket, leather bombers, a sweat suit and of course her favored beanies too. All set to hit the stores in November, WWD reports that the lineup will range from $70 for beanies to $150 for tees. While bikers can also grab hold of the $735 leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves.
Speaking about her collaboration as well as her collection, Cara elucidated, “I can’t believe that some random, rough ideas have finally turned into my own collection…designs with my own name on them and in collaboration with the iconic DKNY brand. It is so wild to realize that it has been an entire year since we began planning this project together…goes to show that time does fly when you’re having fun.”
Appreciating DKNY’s support, she also added that, “They always encouraged my design input, my personal style and my ideas from the very beginning of our working relationship. DKNY is urban and edgy but, most of all, it’s individual. They truly embrace the weirdness in all of us, so you can really be yourself.”
Also Cara has announced an opportunity for all those wanna be models who are eager to be featured beside her in the campaign. One just needs to post
