Apart from being recognized as the face of Burberry, Mulberry and other fashion labels, Cara Delevingne has now been roped in by John Hardy, the luxury jewelry brand from Bali to be the face of their new campaign. All set to debut this fall, the advertising campaign has been shot among the beautiful surroundings of Amankila in East Bali.
Captured by photographer and film director Sebastian Farna, the campaign features Cara alongside Canadian model Simon Nessman. Lolling around on black sand beach and soaking in the water, Cara poses for Faena under the creative direction of advertising guru, David Lipman. Styled by Sarajane Hoare, Bob Recine was responsible for her hair and Tom Pecheux took care of Cara’s make-up.
Delevingne has encapsulated her Balinese modelling assignment as “a true adventure” and added that, “The team was amazing to work with, the energy and creativity was incredible. The shoot was so raw and now I don’t want to leave.”
She also indulged in understanding the process of jewelry making at the brand’s workshop. Speaking about the experience she stated, “I can’t begin to describe how magical it was going to the John Hardy workshop. I was able to see the artisans at work and see how happy they are. I want to live there. The craftsmanship and the pure love that goes into hand-making every piece is so real you can just feel it.” Does that mean we’ll see her donning the jewelry designer’s crown soon?
Delevingne also posted an image of her favorite piece from John Hardy’s luxury jewelry collections and lifestyle accessories. The Double Coil Bracelet from Dot Collection is made from Sterling Silver. The signature motif is generated by the traditional granulating method. The rich architectural rhythms and highly polished surfaces present throughout the pieces convey a controlled, high-powered glamour. Strap it on like Cara for $995.
