Cara Delevingne Is The New Face Of Chanel Spring-Summer 2016 Eyewear

Cara Delevingne makes a comeback to the world of fashion and modeling by surfacing as the new face of Chanel Spring-Summer 2016 eyewear campaign. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, Cara who had announced her farewell from the profession last year, has returned with a bang for the latest shoot for the French fashion designer.

Promoting Chanel’s chic sunglasses to stylish spectacles, Cara Delevingne flaunts her signature attitude by wearing cat-eye and oval frames along with a tweed jacket and a baseball hat worn backwards as well as with front tipped up. Some of the eyewear features iconic Chanel touches like quilted effect as well as embellished camellias.

Elucidating about her decision to switch careers, Cara shares, “Over time, I came to realize that work and getting others’ approval isn’t the most important thing.”

Though the British model is not new to Chanel and its Creative Designer, by being cast as the newest face of Chanel Eyewear, she joins the likes of Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp and Laetitia Cast.
