Wood, stone and glass were combined into a striking modern architectural masterpiece imagined by one of Brazil’s most renowned architects, Isay Weinfeld. Captured in between lakes, forests and gardens, this highly contemporary structure shelters the Fasano Boa Vista Hotel just 100 km from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Spreading over 750 hectares, the property was designed by renowned architect Isay Weinfeld.
On the first floor, the restaurant encourages guests to choose between indoor and outdoor dining in a space capturing glimpses of the lake. Above, the lobby terrace extends the possibility of enjoying the views. On each side of the restaurant, a wing comprising welcoming rooms stretch horizontally, creating a geometric architecture. Unappologetic of its size and bold design, the hotel showcases its thirteen cubic modules housing all 39 guestrooms. Wood panels, flooring and ceiling create a beautiful combination with the stonework, creating a sequence of volumes stretching across the land. In the lobby, drop down ceiling fire places encourage guests to relax and unwind, while the private quarters compose the perfect atmosphere for forgetting any stressful thoughts.
The architect also designed the Piedras Fasano Hotel in Uruguay and Casa d’Agua in Brazil.
