The Dubai Motor Show unveils some fun – including the Brabus GLK V12.
At the Dubai Motor Show they went gaga over the Brabus GLK V12, a modified Mercedes-Benz billed as the world’s fastest street-legal SUV which made its world debut. Powered by a 750 hp 12-cylinder twin turbo engine, the vehicle set a new speed record of 322.3 km/h at the Nardo test track in October. We won’t bore you with the specifics of what Brabus’ engineering wonks did to the GLK Class’ motor; let’s just cut to the chase and note the thing can now do 0 – 100km/h in 4.2 seconds, and hits 200km/h in 12.8 seconds. – From James List
