BMW and the Guggenheim will announce a new major global joint initiative this Friday, October 1, 2010, at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Richard Armstrong (Director, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and Museum) and Frank-Peter Arndt (Member of the Board of Management, BMW AG) will be present for the announcement of a new global initiative.
We will post more details on Friday, but at this time we do know the joint initiative relates to architecture, science, design, education, sustainability, urbanism, art and responsibility.
Joy, indeed.
Previously, BMW was the principal sponsor of the 1998 The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and other Guggenheim museums.
