The next generation of the BMW 5 Series with BMW Connected will feature the innovative ‘Remote 3D View.’ It will allow drivers to view 360° of their car’s surroundings remotely via a helpful smartphone app — even when the driver is nowhere near their Bavarian driving machine. Utilizing the vehicle’s on-board cameras to display a virtual overhead view of the car and its surroundings, the new Remote 3D View will be first available in the next generation BMW 5 Series.
The BMW 5 Series will debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show at the end of next month, and will go on sale next year as a 2017 model.
