Bistro Lamazou is a contemporary restaurant located in the Murray Hill area of New York City.
Its concept is inspired by the rich cultures of countries of the Mediterranean. The menu includes Southern European dishes that are creatively fused with international cheeses. The artistic palette of Bistro Lamazou includes exquisite wines to accompany the perfectly-married food flavors. In addition, a selection of innovative creations is featured in the menu and executed with talent by Executive Chef Jean-Claude Teulade.
The contemporary atmosphere is playful yet elegant with candle-like chandeliers hanging down from the high ceilings, and walls painted in warm raddish, white and yellow colors.
There is a Cheese Bar that you can sit at and indulge yourself with some great cheeses and wine; an elegant liquor bar for a drink with tapas; and a lounge where you can unwind and enjoy a smooth cocktail.
Designed by Nancy Lamazou, the 3,500 square-foot restaurant with its large open interior is brought to life in warm orange and vivid yellow colors. The design provides a fresh and crisp ambiance with soaring ceiling heights, chandeliers, and artist palettes floating above the bars, making a playful, yet elegant atmosphere for a space that seats up to 100 guests.
