Fast and luxurious in equal measure the new flagship Flying Spur model is the first four-door Bentley in history capable of hitting the 200mph mark.
In fact, thanks to its 626hp 6-liter twin-turbo W12 engine, the car is actually capable of hitting 202mph (325km/h) and of accelerating off the line and on to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. And because it’s a Bentley it delivers these figures with ultimate levels of comfort and well-being for anyone lucky enough to be traveling inside it.
Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, said: “The Flying Spur W12 S is the ultimate luxury performance sedan. It combines sharper dynamics and an increase in power from our renowned W12 engine with a more assertive exterior and interior design for customers looking for a Flying Spur with extra attitude.”
But how much attitude is up to the individual. The car’s interior can be specified in the traditional hand shaped and hand matched wood and leather or something more sporty and daring like carbon fibre is also an option.
The car also boasts a unique interior colour split that allows clients to choose a leather hide, contrast it with one from a selection of 17 others and then add to the effect further with contrasting stitching and diamond quilting.
The Flying Spur W12 S was available to order from yesterday with initial deliveries scheduled to start before the end of 2016.
