So you’re not quite ready to book that vacation for snow season. What if your favorite ski-in, ski-out resort destination instead offered you a chance to appreciate Autumn and experience exploring the great outdoors… with llamas?!
Colorado’s Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa has rolled out a new Fall offering that just may be our favorite way to enjoy mountain life.
Now you can bask in the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spas’s ‘Backcountry Llama Fly-Fishing Experience.’
You’ll take in the Fall foliage as you head out on foot from the property with your own expert Paragon guide who leads you through gentle trails to the best small lakes and streams for fly fishing.
Along the way, llamas — yes, llamas — will carry your belongings and gear, as well as your choice from a collection of new gourmet picnics developed specially for this experience. Should you choose the ‘First Catch Celebration’ your llama could be laden with such luxuries as champagne and caviar as he hums alongside you on the trail. (We have it on good authority llamas hum when they’re happy.)
After a day nurturing your spirit in nature, you’ll return to the resort for all of its amenities — but don’t forget to pack your catch. The llamas will love carrying it back so Chef can make it into your own special dinner.
