Audi announced significant upgrades to its flagship S8 full-size performance sedan at the North American International Auto Show. The new car has a wider stance, new front and rear fascia designs and produces 15 additional horsepower from its 4.0 liter turbocharged V8 power plant.
Featuring all-LED headlamps the front end has a more aggressive look. The wider air intake vents, reduced use of chrome as well as the subtle red S badging signal that this car is designed for serious driving.
With 20-inch wheels and low profile tires driven by Audi’s exclusive Quattro All-wheel drive system help make the most of the engine’s 435 horsepower.
The interior includes new Vermont brown leather seats with Carbon twill inserts. The S8 continues to offer excellent comfort and leading edge electronics, while still providing an focused driving experience.
At the rear of the car, the quad oval tailpipes present a memorable image for those whom you leave in your proverbial dust. All in all, we’re excited about the new updates and are looking forward to experiencing the new S8 on the open road where it belongs.
