And the year of the coupe continues.
Audi today announced the addition of a special coupe to its lineup. The RS 5 Coupe Sport edition differs from the standard RS 5 thanks to its exclusive 20″ 5-V-spoke design wheels, red brake calipers and special interior trim. It is offered in Daytona Gray pearl effect, Nardo gray and a few other Audi exclusive paint colors that are complemented by the black and crimson red leather interior, which includes embossed sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and black shifter boot with crimson contrast stitching, red leather door inserts and body-color inlays.
It’s powered by the same 450 hp 4.2-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission with launch control program. The power reaches all four wheels thanks to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system which provides exceptional grip. Thus equipped, the RS 5 Sport is capable of going 0 to 60 in just 4.5 seconds while reaching an electronically-governed top speed of 174 mph.
Only a total of 75 units of The RS 5 Coupe Sport edition will be produced with a starting MSRP of $87,575.
