An art space at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport has been given a January 15 opening. Located in the brand new S4 satellite building, the 250-square-metre gallery, called Espace Musées, will showcase art pieces lent by major Parisian museums.
The Rodin museum will be the first to lend a few of its masterpieces to the airport for an exhibit called “Rodin — The Wings of Glory.” Some 50 paintings and sculptures will be shown to travellers.
The temporary event will run for six months before being replaced by another exhibit.
