Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has launched the 4C IFD Bicycle, a lightweight (it weighs just over 15 lbs) and sleek-looking two-wheeler made by Italy’s Compagnia Ducale. The bike, which was designed by the Alfa Romeo Style Centre, carries over the look and feel of the automaker’s cars.
The IFD in the bike’s name stands for ‘Innovative Frame Design’, in reference to the ‘C’-shaped cross-section of the frame made from the same carbon-fiber half-tube materials used on the chassis of the Alfa Romeo 4C.
The price for the Alfa Romeo 4C IFD Bicycle: $4,700 or $12,200, depending on the model. It will go on sale worldwide this December.
