Buckle up, muscle-car and movie enthusiasts. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced its newest attraction will be the thrill ride “Fast & Furious—Supercharged,” opening June 25 as the grand finale of the studio’s updated behind-the-scenes Studio Tour.
Putting riders behind the “wheel” for a high-octane street racing white-knuckler, “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” is guaranteed to be the biggest West Coast theme park debut of the year. It’s a technologically-advanced ride that combines exhilarating thrills with a reunion of stars from blockbuster “The Fast & Furious” series in a groundbreaking mega-attraction designed to catapult guests into the high-stakes world of street racing at perceived speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour.
Here’s a sneak peek at Universal Studios Hollywood’s new attraction, featuring commentary from the cast, including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Luke Evans and the producers. “You’re completely immersed in the experience…you’re on a high-speed chase,” said Luke Evans (“Owen Shaw”). “It’s an amazing experience, and the guys that build these are true magicians.”
Universal Studios Hollywood’s next hotly-anticipated coming attraction will be Spring 2016 unveiling of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter featuring “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” in hyper-realistic 3D-HD.
