Who says Labor Day needs to be the end of summer festivities? Certainly not us.
Two of our all-time favorite resorts, the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island and Twin Farms, the esteemed all-inclusive country resort in Vermont, will partner for an exclusive food and wine event on September 6th at Ocean House.
Other partners include Opus One and Stags’ Leap, two internationally acclaimed wineries, and the award-winning artisan, Simon Pearce. This wine dinner will provide guests with an inside look into the best New England farm-to-table experiences from both Relais & Châteaux properties.
As if we weren’t salivating already …. couples who attend will also receive a complimentary decanter signed by Simon Pearce himself.
In partnership with the Ocean House culinary team, Executive Chef Nathan Rich of Twin Farms will be crafting the three-course dinner, which will be served on Simon Pearce pottery. Wine pairings from Opus One Winery will be present including varietals from 2010 and 2014 as well as Stags’ Leap Chardonnay (2016); Stags’ Leap Merlot (2015) and Overture Nevada.
The tickets are $135 per person, the decanter is available per two tickets purchased.
Sounds like a pretty good reason to party post Labor Day, if you ask us.
