The Peninsula Beverly Hills has finished a complete renovation of its 4,600 square foot award-winning spa, along with unveiling of new treatments exclusive to this property and The Peninsula Hotels in the U.S.
“The new design of the spa, much like our recently refreshed guest rooms, represents quintessential Beverly Hills luxury,” said Managing Director Offer Nissenbaum.
Perched on the fifth floor next to the legendary roof top pool and restaurant, the revitalized spa was conceptualized by Beverly Hills-based interior design firm Forchielli Glynn and reflects the property’s Five Star-rated signature glamour.
Attention to detail is found throughout, with key features like shimmering, textured wall-coverings; upgraded lighting — to include a new Swarovski Crystal pendant fixture at the check-in desk; and a feature wall with a dramatically lit assembly of hand-crafted white porcelain flowers arranged as if carried by the wind.
Each of the spa’s seven treatment rooms are illuminated by soft back-lit capiz shell wall panels, with guests able to enjoy heated robes and the option to listen to their own music playlists through the system.
The manicure and pedicure room has two new swivel platform massage chairs with integrated foot baths. The room also features a dramatic and modern floor to ceiling back-lit nail polish display wall, which adds an element of artistry.
In addition to upgraded Serenity Lounge amenities like luxe nibbles, seasonal sips, and even adult coloring books to help you unwind before your treatment, there are now Pink Himalayan Salt Dry Saunas that release serotonin in the body; guests can get “red carpet ready” in the new Hair and Make-Up studio, which features luxury hair care products by Oribe; and the spa continues outside to the nearby pool, where a new Spa Cabana offers private express treatments.
But it is a new menu of treatments that may really entice guests. We love the Subtle Energies Recovering Traveler treatment which invigorates with an organic body polish, followed by a full body detox massage, then finishes with an essential hydration facial.
A makeover and a new spa menu, two new reasons to book your travel — and pampering — through The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
