Gwyneth Paltrow’s private club, the Arts Club, has been planned to enrich the Sunset Strip. The designs of the exclusive club, backed by the 43 year old American actress and her business partner Gary Landesberg, have just been unveiled.
The posh London private members club founded in 1863 aims to rise up to nine-stories. The new 132,000-square-foot building will replace the current location of the Hustler Store to feature a private rooftop pool and terrace, a restaurant as well as a helipad. 
The first four floors will be home to creative office space and a gallery with the remaining upper floors will be devoted to the club. Curbed also reports that the fifth floor would hold a dining terrace, screening room, and gym; the sixth floor would house 15 guest rooms for members; the seventh floor would have an eatery, another terrace, and a lounge for members and there would be a Japanese/Latino restaurant on the eighth floor. The building is also conceived to feature vertical aluminum fins that would undulate and rotate along the building’s facade, although fixed in position.
The fancy, no-swearing-allowed club costs $2,000 to join, plus $2,000-a-year dues, at its London branch. To become a member, of the club planned for the mile and a half stretch of Sunset between Hollywood and Beverly Hills, one must be nominated by an existing member and participate in or have an interest in art, literature or science.
