If you have a serious need for speed, Aston Martin has the car for you.
The iconic auto maker has unveiled its fastest model – the 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S.
The new V12 Vantage S tops out at 205 mph. The only car Aston Martin ever made that was faster was the One-77, which is no longer produced.
The V12 Vantage S is tuned for the race track. Under the hood, there’s a new AM28 6.0-liter V-12 engine that produces the 565 ponies. To help improve performance, the car has added hollow cam shafts and CNC machined combustion chambers.
New to the Vantage range is the three-stage adaptive damping system. You’ll find “Normal,” “Sport,” and “Track” modes. Throttle response, and gearshift speed and timing are controlled by these modes.
There are some design changes to the Vantage S. You’ll find beautiful black carbon fiber or titanium silver mesh accents, a new grille insert, forged 10-spoke alloy wheels, and a black roof and partially painted trunk panel.
