The Italian fashion house is all set to rock the Italian capital. Fendi along with its creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, will be opening its new headquarters in Milan on 19th September.
The new outpost, touted to house the longest runway in Milan, will introduce Silvia Venturini Fendi’s S/S 2014 collection. Located on Via Solari, Fendi’s latest head office will boast of a permanent installation by the sculptor, along with offices, showrooms and the runway theater. The brick building will also welcome fans as well as shoppers to an exhibition space that will display art, culture and design projects. The multinational luxury goods brand owned by LVMH has already been intriguing fans with tidbits of the work-in-progress of the same. Along with the inauguration, Fendi will establish its ongoing affiliation with the cinema through a special project in Milan.

Update – The new Fendi Boutique in Via Montenapoleone, Milan, opened its doors on September 19th.
The ready-to-wear area preserves the original structure on the walls and ceiling,
The walls of the Selleria room are lined with Cuoio Romano with Selleria stitches and metal details to display the precious collection. The same room also hosts the Made-to-Order service, allowing clients to personalize the Fendi bags.
The Baguette Wall has 127,000 bronze needles which are assembled with hand.
Black Japanese lacquered walls with gold and bronze highlights add characted to the Fur room.
The column at the entrance of the boutique by Italian artists NUCLEO, featuring amber resin pixels, recalls iconic Roman cobble stones.
