After being dropped by LVHM’s TAG Heuer, Tiger Woods is now a brand ambassador for the luxury watchmaker Rolex. The troubled golfer joins an iconic Rolex club, which includes Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. But don’t expect to see a Rolex on Woods when he plays the sport — he never wears a watch while competing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a statement, Rolex says it “is convinced that Tiger Woods still has a long carer ahead of him and he has all the qualities required to continue to mark the history of golf. The brand is committed to accompanying him in his new challenges”.
