Fastening up the trend in the fashion arena, Zippers aren’t just a functional part of clothing anymore. Louis Vuitton has made use of the humble zipper to add decorative flair to its Fall 2014 shoe collection. To mark the launch of this outstanding footwear lineup, the fashion house has commissioned John Wright to capture a series of graphic pictures highlighting the feature of the season: the zip. The Scottish photographer and film director has expertly shown images of various styles of the zipper detailed shoes against iconic locations like Place de la Concorde, du Trocadero, du Louvre, etc. in Paris.
Trimmed with zips, the entire range includes shoes for day as well as night wear. Louis Vuitton has styled sandals, brogues, loafers, low boots and ankle boots from calf or waxed calf leather along with python and suede goat leather. Take a look at our picks from the collection –
