At Paris Fashion Week, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld appeared with performer/producer Swizz Beatz to unveil their collaboration on the Chanel Monster Headphones. The all-black headphones feature the classic Chanel quilting and the brand’s iconic logo.
After the Chanel show, the performer tweeted: “HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE,” and another,“oh yeah and it is #Chanel X #Monster!!! GO TIME!!!” He also posted another photo to Instagram of him alongside French model Baptiste Giabiconi wearing the special collaboration headphone, with the caption “Me and my #chanel/#Monster brother.” Lastly, he added “I would like to thx my Monster team for working endless hours on perfecting this moment.”
Beatz has a co-ownership stake in the San Francisco-based audio company Monster, maker of the luxe headphone. No word on any release date or price of the Chanel Monster Headphones.
