All those who have been aching to step into Victoria Beckham’s shoes can celebrate as the designer has debuted her runway shoe collection in New York. Launched as a part of the fashion queen’s spring/summer 2015 show at New York Fashion Week, the first footwear line from VB comprises of flat brogues and chunky platforms. This move is least expected from the lady who has been so loyal to her stilettos pumps, without which is she rarely steps out. Realizing the need to blend fashion with comfort, Victoria’s much wearable footwear range is inspired by the cool and confident woman who is as happy in a pointed flat as well as a platform!

It is in the spirit of this evolution that VB has designed the show shoes under her own name in her London atelier for the first time. To support her own line, Victoria also assured that she’ll be wearing them too, in every color.

Along with her clothes and bags, the shoes marched down the runway fitted on the models feet. However the designer herself chose to wear her favored Manolo Blahnik pumps when she appeared to take a bow at the end of the shoe-stopping show.

The flat pointy shoes sans laces get a feminine touch with apliqué flowers. While some were also spotted in plain style with black trimmings, the trend is expected to go wild with the leopard print winklepickers. FYI, winklepickers is a amusing name for shoes with a very pointed tip
