Postcard from Paris V.1

Pursuitist Luxury Best Luxury Blog

Bonjour from Paris!

I am writing my first post in letter form since I think it’s most fitting for this type of column. After all, twice a week I will be sending a “postcard from Paris” to my dear readers. Fortunately, thanks to the amazing thing called internet, I won’t have to invest in millions of stamps but rather just share all my luxury findings through the amazing Pursuitist blog.

Since we will be pen pals, I suppose it is only fair that you know a bit about me. My name is Vilte and until the age of 12 I lived in a small country in Europe called Lithuania. I moved to LA, went to school and enjoyed being a California kid. I got my degree in Fashion Design but went off to do everything BUT design. Besides doing a million internships, I worked in fashion PR, organizing LA Fashion Week, wrote for various publications and styled for theater, commercials and film. On a whim, I decided to come to one of my favorite places in the world – Paris. And thanks to my lovely EU passport I can stay here as long my little heart desires and enjoy Paris until it starts to drive me crazy. So far, that doesn’t seem to be in any near future.

So come along with me on this ride, will yah? After all, Paris is the spot for amazing fashion houses, fantastic cafes and breathtaking art. Every week, I will do my best to bring you a little piece of my Paris and I hope you can enjoy it as if you were here, even if it’s just for a few minutes a day. Please don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions, suggestions or just want to share a joke ( I love good jokes, preferably ones that start with “ so this guy walks into a bar.”).

Bisous!

V.
