Another new list has been released ranking the top hotels in the world, with The Lodge at Sea Island in Georgia taking the top spot for the best hotel in the US.
US News & World Report has released its version of the best properties, divided into geographical regions such as the US, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico.
Results were based on reviews from guests and industry experts for 2,500 hotels across North America and the Caribbean.
Winners represent the top 10 percent.

Best hotel in the US: The Lodge at Sea Island, Sea Island, Georgia
Best hotel in the Caribbean: The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman
Best hotel in Canada: Ritz-Carlton, Montreal
Best hotel in Mexico: Rosewood Mayakoba
