Summer Recipes Featuring Maestro Dobel TequilaSummer always seems like tequila season. The weather is warm, clothes are lighter, people feel freer from the constrains of society, windows are open, music seems to drift on the warmer air. Today’s tequilas are handcrafted, soft, and luxurious.

Maestro Dobel  tequila does not fit into normal classifications such as Reposado or añejo; instead it’s clear-aged tequila, a white spirit rich with complexities of caramel, honey, and nuts generally found in liquors with a darker hue. Maestro Dobel has dubbed this category of one “Diamante.”

Dobel Tequila was founded in 2007 by Juan Domingo Beckmann Legoreta, an 11th generation tequila producer who utilizes a lifetime of passed-down knowledge to ensure every batch of Maestro Dobel  features its unique handcrafted taste.  The tequila is aged in White Oak barrels from Eastern Europe and the model is modeled after a 19th-century era laboratory bottle found at the company’s distillery.

Ad campaigns for Maestro Dobel feature Perry Farrell, the front man of band Jane’s Addiction and creator of the Lollapalooza Festival.  Maestro Dobel is available for a suggested retail price of $54.99 for a 750ML bottle. Recipes below take advantage of summer’s fruits and spicy flavors.
