Selling drinks while fighting HIV/AIDS: the Follow the Woody project

The Follow the Woody project is trying to raise funds for HIV/AIDS -affected people by serving drinks from a beautiful teardrop trailer transformed into a fully functional cocktail bar. Designed by interior designer Brad Ford with consultation in bar-related issues from experienced barman Jim Meehan, the revamped trailer was created for Moore & Giles. Adorned with Moore & Giles leathers and wood paneling, The Great American Woody was launched at DINING BY DESIGN New York 2011.

Prepared to take luxury outdoor entertaining to the next level, the trailer participating in exclusive charity events raises awareness and funds for Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA), one of the country’s largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk. After traveling the USA to take part in different food and beverage related events, “it will be auctioned off on charitybuzz as a part of DIFFA’s “30 for 30” auction featuring 30 exceptional, one-of-a-kind auction packages to commemorate 30 years of fighting HIV/AIDS.” Selling drinks from an interesting and revamped teardrop trailer will surely attract clients and curious people.
