Over 400,000 fireworks will be lit up to put up a six minute show along with a series of scenes designed for the event. The extravagance will cover The Palm Jumeirah and The World to set a Guinness World Record. The show will commence with a ‘Flying Falcon’ doing rounds of The World islands. This accomplishment is also charged up to put New York in limelight in Middle East. The World Islands has selected New York Island from the manmade archipelago to be the highlight of the night. Another record attempt is also on the cards as the display will include a 225 metre wide and 130 metre high UAE flag shaped out of fireworks and special effects.

If you cannot make it to Manhattan then immerse in a show of light and sound on New Year’s Eve 2013-14 in Brooklyn’s centrally located Prospect Park. Grand Army Plaza is a favorite site for families as the fireworks will begin at midnight.
