Fashion is not only about offering a world of luxury and comfort clothing for men and women walking across the Manhattan streets. Ralph Lauren has been in charge of designing outfits for Team USA for Olympics since 2008. This year they have scored patriotic as well as eco-friendly credits by launching ‘Made in the USA’ uniforms for the athletes headed to the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Watch out for the athletes on the field sporting many pieces of the well-designed collection. Manufactured locally, Ralph Lauren Corp. used more than 40 vendors, from all over the US for the outfits. For the first time, the Made in the USA label will be flaunted on every opening and closing ceremony uniform along with the Olympic Village gear.

Americans will also be able to sport a few pieces of this collection while playing games in their backyard as Ralph Lauren will be selling a version of it to the public too. The USA hat will cover your crown for $85 while the American Flag Gloves will cover the palms for $98. The $295 American Flag Sweater will keep the up the heat as well as the style quotient on the grass. The Ralph Lauren 2014 Team USA Collection will be available from 15th November onward on ralphlauren.com and teamusashop.com.

Back in 2012, the fashion house faced the brunt when Team USA sported Made in China tags at London Olympics. The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially the XXII Olympic Winter Games, are scheduled to take place 7 to 23 February 2014, in Sochi, Russia.

Hoping that the spirit of ‘Made in the USA’ will help to bring back home a few more gold medals!
