Noise Cancellation Technology From Bose: QuietComfort 20

Bose announced these days their newest earphones named QuietComfort 20. The company’s first in-ear headphones  are impressive in terms of noise-cancellation, featuring a special processing chip, that totally isolates you from the “sound of the crowd”. Now’ let’s dive in!

What makes QuietComfort 20 outstanding

Bose simulated some loud environments such as a busy train station (and we all know what that means) or subways, to prove the “power” of their new product. The buds use a built-in lithium-ion battery and they need to be charged (2 hours) for a 16 hours ride of music. “QuietComfort 20 headphones let you experience music on the go as never before. You’ll enjoy lifelike, digital sound quality that stands out from the noise around you—plus the freedom of an in-ear headphone. StayHear+ tips physically block some noise while our Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology electronically reduces most of what’s left. It’s just you and your music, even in noisy environments.”

Of course, if you don’t feel like being isolated all the time, there’s always the “aware mode”, that lets in the exterior sound.

A pair of QC 20 will cost $299.95 and will be available in stores, this summer. There will be two types of QC’s available on the market.  One, suitable for Android devices, with a one-button in-line remote and the other, suitable for iOS devices, with a three-button in-line remote. The iOS version is generically knowns as 20i. Accessories-BoseBose
