Hollywood is notoriously fickle but when it comes to its favorite bubbly, it can be uncharacteristically loyal. For the 24th consecutive year, the Golden Globe Awards has selected Moët & Chandon — the champagne of the rich and famous since 1743 — as its official, exclusive champagne of choice.

The announcement came this week when the Golden Globes announced its list of awards nominees at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. In the wee hour of 5 a.m., celebrities awoke to the true breakfast of champions: a champagne toast being televised live to following the announcement of nominees for this season’s Golden Globe Awards. Presenters Kate Beckinsale, Paula Patton, Jeremy Piven, and Peter Krause (a 2015 Globes nominee himself) raised “Golden Goblets” of Moët in honor of this year’s biggest actors, actresses, movies and television shows as Hollywood begins its countdown to the 72nd Annual Golden Globes. “Birdman,” “Boyhood, “The Imitation Game,” lead the pack of nominees in film categories, while television nominations included “Downton Abbey,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Game of Thrones,” “Girls,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Silicon Valley,” “The Good Wife” and “House of Cards.”

This year, Moët & Chandon will co-star on the red carpet and tables at the Golden Globes with its family of champagnes. Stars will be served 1,500 Moët Impérial minis on the red carpet; 400 magnums of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2004 and Moët Impérial Rosé at their tables during the awards ceremony; and 500 Moët cocktails served at the bars.

Moët & Chandon will also return to the red carpet with its philanthropic initiative, “Toast for a Cause.” Golden Globe nominees will be invited to raise a toast with Moët & Chandon Impérial minis in support of their favorite charities on the red carpet. For each toast raised, Moët & Chandon donates $1,000 to the chosen charity in the nominees’ names. NBC will air the Golden Globe Awards live January 11, 2015 from the Beverly Hills Hotel ballroom with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning for their third and supposedly final time as hosts.
