What happens when your favorite luxury brand collides with your favorite sport? Fan bling! Here’s some of our favorite sports gear created by the top high-end creators of quality goods.

To celebrate the Sept. 4 reopening of the Hermès 12,000-square-foot Beverly Hills boutique at 434 N. Rodeo Drive, the iconic luxury brand is unveiling the Hermes’ $12,900 basketball. Only two have been produced at the special-orders atelier in Paris under the creative direction of Pierre-Alexis Dumas.

“It represents the sky, the ocean and all the beautiful pools that are a way of life in L.A. and Southern California,” says Robert Chavez, Hermes U.S. CEO, who says that the exceptional quality of the leather as well as the artisanal craftsmanship account for the ball’s price.

If the Hermès basketball is not within your budget, there’s always the Chanel Football and Basketball by Karl Lagerfeld. They’re only available for $195, each, at select Chanel boutiques; Jeffrey, 449 West 14th Street; and Maxfield, Los Angeles.

If winter sports are more your thing, you can’t go wrong with the Chanel Black Snowboard:

Or the Chanel River Raft (I bet Coco would’ve loved this)…

And any combination of the Chanel Surfboards:

Switching brands, we admire the Louis Vuitton Polo Bike. The iconic France brand has partnered with renowed polo bike players Grégory Barbie and Hannes Hengst to design the Louis Vuitton Polo Bike and Mallet. With classic Vuitton patterns and shapes, the bike also features a machined chainring created by Victoire Cycles from Clermont-Ferrand, France, an area that has a tradition of hand-made bicycle manufacturing.
