The beauty brand — an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival — has unveiled a limited-edition makeup collection in celebration of the event. But beyond Cannes‘ famous Croisette strip, the L’Oréal Paris “Red Carpet Edition 2016” collection channels the world’s most glamorous events, from the Berlinale to the Venice Film Festival, putting star style within everyone’s reach.

Each year, L’Oréal Paris presents a makeup collection for the Cannes Film Festival (running May 11-22 this year), and 2016 is no exception, with a line of essentials for creating the ultimate red carpet look.

After going gold for 2014 and paying homage to the pin-up in 2015, L’Oréal Paris is back for 2016, offering beauty addicts a makeup look worthy of the most glamorous red carpet events. With mesmerizing eyes, XXL lashes, and bold, glamorous lips, everyone can channel their inner star with a makeup look worthy of Hollywood’s finest.

Intense eyes

Eyes take center stage with the mesmerizing and intense effect of the “Color Riche Les Ombres” eyeshadow palette in “Seductive Rose.” This features four pink-toned shadows ranging from a light pastel hue to a shimmering dark rose.

Eyes are finished with “Superliner Smokissime” in “Blue Smoke,” an eyeliner pen that’s ideal for creating smoky eye effects, and lashings of L’Oréal Paris “Faux Cils Superstar Red Carpet” mascara in black, for maximum impact.

There’s no need to choose between eyes or lips in a red carpet look, as all features can be showstopping. This five-product collection therefore includes a “Color Riche” lipstick in “Plum My Nights,” a striking pinky plum shade.

And for head-to-toe perfection when stepping onto the red carpet, nails are finished in “Color Riche” nail polish in the vibrant “Blue Dreams” color.

The limited edition “Red Carpet Cannes 2016” collection is out in France this month.
