Le Bon Marche Unveils Private-Label Bridal Jewelry

Looking to put a ring on it?  You’ve likely been dazzled by the diamonds at Tiffany’s and a couple of those other notable brands that advertise as the best for bridal.  But according to a news release by WWD, engagement shopping at Le Bon Marché in Paris now has a certain ring to it.

The brand has launched private-label bridal jewelry as part of its new fine jewelry department, completing the revamp of its ground-floor accessories department.

Just across from the watches (don’t get distracted!) the jewelry area features three shops-in-shop — Chaumet, Fred and Pomellato — in addition to 24 other brands, with a focus on cutting-edge designers with little or no existing distribution in Paris.

You’ll want to head on over to Le Bon Marche’s powder pink jewelry section (the department is divided into three alcoves with a color-coded decor:  blue for gemstones, pastel yellow for avant-garde designers and pink for bridal), and gaze past the gold leaf display cases framing delicate white paper bird sculptures (by Mathilde Nivet) to check out some classic selections.

Or, since you’ve bucked the traditional Tiffany’s trend to peruse in Paris, you might be delighted by an engagement and wedding band pair worn together that’s made by AS29 designer Audrey Savransky. This one’s exclusive to Le Bon Marche.
