The 41 year English model, who has been renowned for the heroin chic legacy in the fashion world, has now turned her attention to interior designing. kate-moss-Kate Moss has conceptualized and designed The Barnhouse, a $3.8 million home, located at a second luxury homes development in Cotswolds retreat The Lakes, 90 minutes from London.kate-moss-the_barnhouse_5One of the world’s great models’ long-established love of The Cotswolds drew her to make The Lakes the site for her first ever interior design project. Kate has restyled the interiors of the five-bedroom country house, complementing its traditional elegance with a vibrant, retro-glamour vision.kate-moss-the_barnhouse_2The Barnhouse’s double height reception and spacious bedrooms make it ideal for a family country house living. The decor of the 650-acre woodland estate brings the outdoors inside with an earthy color palette, floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors opening onto a deck and a swimming pool.kate-moss-the_barnhouse_4She has worked with David Haddock a West Country craftsman, to create bespoke furniture, including a David Bowie-inspired TV cabinet complete with steel thunderbolt.
