The U.S. Open is grand, but where can tennis fans go this month to soak up some Florida sunshine, watch tennis masters play, and then get a chance to show off their own smash serves? For the sixth year, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami will open its doors and 11 tennis courts to welcome pros and amateurs alike for an extended weekend enjoying a great sport.

For the All-Star Tennis Charity Event on March 24, The Ritz’s Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center will welcome the world’s top tennis players such as Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams, Serena Williams and Kei Nishikori. But beyond that, the tropical resort has created two grand slam experiences for true fans of the sport, giving them unsurpassed access to the main event with resort packages booked from March 23-27.

For $5,999 and up, the “Ultimate Tennis Dream” package is a sleepover special featuring champagne in your oceanfront suite, adult tennis clinics for two, a private tennis lesson for two, a pair of box seats to the Miami Open, and the pièce de résistance: VIP access to the All-Star Charity Event with hitting time and meet-and-greet ops with the top pros. Just think of the mixed-double selfies you’ll score with Venus and Serena.

Want a little less court time in favor of more leisure time? For $1099 and up, the “I Love Tennis” package offers overnight accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, breakfast to fuel up for your tennis clinic and private tennis lesson for two, roundtrip shuttles to and from the 26 courts of the Crandon Tennis Center, and a personal meet-up with Hall of Famer, Cliff Drysdale.

It seems only fair to mention that Drysdale isn’t just a tennis legend and ESPN commentator – he’s the resident pro at the Ritz-Carlton tennis center that bears his name. It happens to be one of the largest tennis facilities of any Ritz-Carlton worldwide, featuring one hard court and ten soft clay Hydrocourts. Fittingly, Drysdale is one of the top 50 tennis players of all time, and Tennis magazine says his Ritz-Carlton playground is one of “The 50 Greatest U.S. Tennis Resorts” so bring your “A” game. And a good book (like “Open” by Andre Agassi) to read in your beach cabana.
