Q: What inspired you to become a designer?
A: I love young women that aren’t afraid to experiment with their fashion and at the same time managed to look flawless every time. A clear example is Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Kira Knightley.

I was a very creative and curious child so fashion was something I was always interested in. I loved my mother’s impeccable style when I was growing up which developed an early interest in fashion. I always knew I wanted to be a designer so when I got accepted to Central Saint Martins it was a clear indication I was on a right path perusing my dream.

Q: Who is your dream celebrity client to dress?
A: There are a lot of celebrities with great style today. However I would love to dress someone who isn’t afraid to experiment with style and make it look effortless. Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth and Kira Knightley always have an impeccable style. I would love to see them wear Julia Korol in the near future.

Q: What is your ultimate goal for your brand?
A: To be recognized internationally and for my brand to continue growing.

Q: What would you tell an aspiring designer?
A: Not to be afraid to experiment and to push your boundaries. Listen to criticism and learn from your mistakes. It’s a tough journey but it all pays off.

Q: Where do you draw most of your design inspirations?
A: I get my inspirations from every day life. Whether it’s an exhibition a movie or a trip I took that inspired me. I love architecture so visiting different countries is always inspiring and gives me a lot I ideas. I always keep a note pad with me so if I see anything that I find interesting I make sure I sketch it down so later on I can take it further into designing.

Q: What is the hardest part about starting your own label?
A: It’s the fear of not being able to succeed or be approved by the public however you need to believe in yourself and not be afraid to push your boundaries and really let your true self shine.

Q: What profession would you have if you have not become a designer?
A: An artist.
