Architects Jaime Prous & Damian Ribas have designed a modern private residence in Igualada, Barcelona. The house, called Igualada N1, consists of three cubes which are arranged in a way to create a set of ultra-minimal courtyards between them. The minimalistic courtyards perform as large windows that allow light to brighten the interior spaces.
“The Architecturally, the project is articulated by three cubes, these cubes are arranged in such a way that they generate courtyards between them, which serve to illuminate the various rooms and spaces,” the architect states.
