How to choose a high-end vaporizer

With technology advancing at such a rapid pace, there are so many different products to choose from, and it can be very confusing for someone who is new to vaping.

One of the newest additions to the marijuana market are dry herb vaporizers. Each dry herb vaporizer is different, with different batteries, settings, temperature controls, oven sizes, and more.

What makes the choice even more confusing is that some dry herb vaporizers are very expensive, while others are cheaper, yet both offer the same features. The prices may also differ at physical stores, and online retailers, such as magicvaporizers.co.uk may have better prices. In order to choose the best high-end vaporizer for you, you need to be able to tell the difference between them, and understand what features you need, and which you don’t.

For those who are struggling to make a decision, here is how you can choose a high-end vaporizer, and not regret your decision.

What is a dry herb vaporizer?

The first step to choosing a high-end vaporizer is to deepen your understanding of the device. A dry herb vaporizer usually consists of just a few things; a mouthpiece, a battery and a chamber to store the herb. This does depend on the actual vaporizer that you intend on buying, as there are quite a few to choose from.

The most popular kind is the on-demand vaporizer, which is a relatively small device that is inconspicuous and allows the user to vape on the go. The second is the session vaporizer, which is slightly bigger, and is used for vaping an entire chamber when relaxing. The last is the desktop vaporizer which is the biggest of them all, and is great for sharing.

Is portability important?

The next step in choosing a high-end vaporizer is considering whether or not portability is important to you. This step is actually very important, because as mentioned above, there are a variety of different vaporizers to choose from, and you want to make sure you get the right one for your needs.

The best choice for portability would be the on-demand vaporizer as they are small, can easily fit inside of your pocket, don’t create big puffs of vapor, and allow you to take small hits when you have time.

If you aren’t really fussy about portability and are primarily going to be using the vaporizer at home, then the desktop vaporizer would be for you. It has a large chamber which can store a lot of marijuana, and is best used for when at home since it has to be plugged into a power source in order to use it.

What kind of batteries do you want?

The third step would be to consider what kind of batteries you will be using for the vaporizer. This ties in with portability, as there are two different types of batteries that are available; detachable batteries and non-detachable ones. If you are planning on using the vaporizer on the go, then you should probably get a vaporizer that has detachable batteries.

The primary reason for this is because detachable batteries can be charged using a battery charger, which is really handy if you have several batteries since you can just simply just swap them out whenever one of them gets low.

Alternatively, if you have money to spare, you should try to find a vaporizer with a non-detachable battery that can hold a lot of charge, somewhere in the 2600 – 3600mAh range. Most normal vaporizers have a battery range between 2000mAh to 2500mAh.

Temperature and oven capacity

The final thing to consider when looking for a high-end vaporizer are the temperature controls and oven capacity, which again, depend on your needs. When it comes to the temperature controls, basic on-demand vaporizers are slightly lacking in this area, so your best bet would be the session vaporizers, although the more expensive on-demand vaporizers will have them.

Temperature controls are important because depending on the marijuana that you are using, you will have to adjust the temperature accordingly to get the best experience. Oven capacity is also important, because it means you won’t have to be refilling it every so often if your device can hold a lot, which means that you won’t have to be constantly checking how much you have left.

There is nothing worse than being ready to vape, and then discovering that the oven is empty.
