Bar Convent Brooklyn brings together the bar and beverage community for two days of education, exploration, cocktails, fun and networking. Highlights to BCB 2019:

 

Mezcal El Silencio winning ““Most Creative Booth 2019” by partnering with Think Tank and viral artist/sculptor Scott Hove for an immersive art installation embracing Black Magic and the mythology of mezcal, featuring religious tropes and gothic relics  made out of taxidermy, infinity mirror altar and kneelers, Holy Water station and more interactive surprises.

 

Hepple Gin from Nothumberland, England partying at Toby Cecchini‘s new bar- The Rockwell Place.

 

The House of Angostura’s Chief Mixologist Raymond Edwards in town from Trinidad, mixing up cocktails behind the bar and at Liquor Lab in Soho.

 

Straight from Berlin to Bar Convent Brooklyn, Thomas Henry (created for the best drinks in the best bars) taking over Williamsburg cocktail bar with world-renowned bartenders Gabriel Carlos & Zuza Cerven from Manhattan Bar in Singapore + Philip Bischoff from Four Seasons Bangkok.

 

Japan’s first dedicated gin distillery, Kyoto Distillery, making its US debut and launching their publication Classic KI NO BI Cocktails at the Clover Club. Their award-winning botanical gin uses native botanicals like Hinoki, Gyokuro, and Yuzu.

 

Industry veterans & Spirit Experts Philip and Elayne Duff hosting an Irish breakfast with Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey at Grand Republic. Guests were one of the first to sample the Marchesi di Barolo limited release, the newest and last release of expressions in Knappogue Castle’s Cask Finished series.
