Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade has become the latest basketball star to parlay his fame into the wine business with his own label, aptly called Wade.
During a fan tour across China, the Miami Heat guard made the announcement by posting photos of his new wine label on Instagram.
Wade posted on the photo social network: “Last night i finished the first part of my China tour..which was me launching my very first Wade Wine..Both Shanghai & Beijing events was great and we are looking forward to more in the future.”
Though details are scarce, an early Instagram preview reveals bottles of red wine — appropriate considering the fact that China is the world’s largest consumer of red wine.
