America’s quintessential motorcycle company, Harley-Davidson, has unveiled the new Low Rider S at this year’s X Games in Aspen.

The new Low Rider S motorcycle is the most powerful non-CVO Dyna cruiser ever offered by Harley-Davidson. The Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine, Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather performance intake and Fat Bob-style 2-into-2 exhaust deliver 115 foot pounds of peak torque at 3500 rpm. Premium suspension and brakes complete the performance package. The Low Rider S is muscular and dark – the aggressive styling clearly aimed at riders who value a performance-based bike. The new limited-edition bike joins the Fat Boy S and Softail Slim S models as the third in the new line of S series cruisers for the 2016 Harley lineup.

Harley introduced its first Low Rider in 1977. Pricing for the new Harley-Davidson Low Rider S begins at $16,699.

Roughly half of the heavyweight motorcycles sold in the United States (which is defined as those with engines of 601 cubic centimeters or greater) are made by the Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson.

Here’s a look at the new 2016 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S.
