A Subscription from Mouth

We’re obsessed with this new website offering gorgeous artisanal food products ranging from peanut butter to impossible-to-find whiskey. Sure, you’ll find tons of stocking stuffers, but we’d suggest that the foodie in your life enjoy something a bit more grand, like a subscription to something special. From pickles to cookies to coffee to ‘cravings,’ these by-the-month boxes (starting around $180 for three months) offer up some of the best goods we’ve ever seen on the interwebs.

Holiday 2014 Gift Box

Black Caviar Company Holiday Box
Specially selected and prepared from the highest grade of coveted Russian Sturgeon, this gorgeous non-farmed caviar is beloved for its intense but pleasantly nutty flavor. Only available in limited quantities, this Osetra caviar is offered in five sizes, ranging from 1 to 8.8 ounces ($160 – $1,150). Order for the holidays and enjoy your tin in a black box ornately wrapped in gold ribbon for a contemporary, festive statement.

Food that Gives Back
Any good chef knows that great cooking oils can make a difference in the flavor and quality of their dishes. Good gift givers know that it isn’t about just the gift, but the thought behind it. That’s why we love Nudo, a London-based company that offers you the chance to enjoy cold press extra virgin olive oil (from $77 and up), honey (coming soon) or tea (from $39 and up) while supporting the growers and producers as well. Just want the goods? We love their flavored oils, infused with scents like rosemary, mandarin oranges, Sicilian Chiles, lemon and more.

Cooking Classes Where JT & Jessica Tied the Knot

We’ve long been dying to visit Borgo Egnazia, the chic Italian resort where Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot back in 2012. Thanks to the launch of their new experiential learning weeks, we now have a new reason. Treat your favorite chef to five day “nowhere else academy” where they’ll explore the influences of the Mediterranean diet and cuisine led by Borgo Egnazia’s Executive Chef Stefano Santo. Each day focuses on a different aspect of Mediterranean cuisine with a combination of educational lessons and hands-on cooking in the kitchen. If you’d like something a bit more active, they also offer a “from sea to plate” fishing experience or a mixology or wine week. Rates start around $1,000 for two people, exclusive of room rates.

Luxury Electric Grill
We love a good gas grill, but thanks to our city lifestyle, it isn’t always possible to go fire one up. This stainless steel City Grill ($449) offers a grill-like flavor and appearance with a safe-for-indoors experience. It heats up to 600 degrees from edge to edge in just seven minutes and features a non-stick, dishwasher safe grate.  The portable unit can sit right on the kitchen countertop, and is flameless and smokeless, taking away the hazard of open flames.
